I spotted this guy sitting on Brighton promenade with a couple of fishing rods. I chatted to him for a bit and it turns out that he's homeless and was about to go and fish for his dinner, something he does pretty much every day. He was a really interesting guy, and kindly let me take a few shots of him.

I'm commenting on this picture once again not to just tell you how amazing it still is but to tell you how you inspired me to have this conversation with a homeless man at a bus stop that I met. He had a sore on his nose after falling over because he was to weak to get up and looked like he needed some help, I got him a tissue and we started talking. He told me he was homeless and that he was just wandering around and spoke about his life and we spoke about mine, I kept trying to hold back my tears because I felt bad for him but he told me he was a survivor and has got by long enough on the streets to know his way around. Unfortunantly I couldn't stay long because I had to get home before it got too dark but I hope that it helped his day feel a little bit brighter even if it made me feel upset and worried. Sometimes I still think about him and hope he is okay.
