Pair of Does

I was amazingly lucky whilst out wandering around the forest one morning, drinking in the gorgeous early morning sun and generally enjoying the peace of the forest and being absorbed in nature, and spotted a Red Deer. The deer are completely wild and roam the forest as they please. At the time I had a general purpose 18-55mm lens on, so slowly ducked behind a tree and very quietly changed to my 55-200mm. The deer were very skittish, but over the course of 30 minutes I managed to get to within about 15 or so feet of them, moving very slowly, doing everything as quietly as possible. I even managed to get my tripod set up to an extent. I have a whole bunch of shots of them, there were three deer in total, two does and a fawn. I felt so incredibly priveleged to see them at such close quarters, and to be able to spend some time photographing them - it truly made a big impact on me.
