So today's the day of the Brighton devMEET that myself and =Alomie are organising!
Should hopefully be a good day - the weather's not bad, it's rather windy, but the sun's out and there are interesting fluffy white clouds around. I think there's some rain forecast this evening, but we'll be well ensconced in a pub by then I would think! ![]()
In other news, last weekend we went to visit my parents on the border of Wales in the deep countryside. The weather was a let-down and didn't give much opportunity for photography, which was one of the main things I was looking forward to (other than seeing my parents of course!), but I still managed to get a few shots which are useable. I haven't got around to processing them yet though - Battlefield Heroes ([link]) is taking up time which would normally be reserved for that ![]()
Also, I'm building myself a new rig
. =Alomie's having my current machine as it's way more powerful than her laptop and can easily handle Photoshop and all the current games etc. So in under two weeks I'll be ordering all the parts to build myself...
- AMD Phenom II X4 940 (3GHz / core, 4 cores)
- 8GB PC2 8500 1066MHz OCZ Reaper RAM
- 2 x 320Gb 7200rpm SATA II drives in a RAID0 striped array for highspeed performance
- nVidia GTX275 896Mb DDR3 gfx card with dual DVI and HDMI-out
- Bluray drive
- 24" Iiyama HD 2ms monitor
- Saitek Eclipse II gaming keyboard (to replace my now dead G15)

Sorry for the late reply.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. -Aaron Siskind
Thats very kind & I still appreciate every single one.
