I'm off for a few days' holiday next week to the New Forest in Hampshire with ~Alomie and *AdamShepherd. Can't wait! It'll be my first holiday that isn't just a long weekend in about 4 years. Awesome!

I've also hired a Sigma 10-20mm ultra-wide especially for the occasion as, as much as I love my trusty 50mm f/1.8 prime, I don't fancy being in a place stuffed with beautiful scenery with just a 50mm prime and being forced to shoot everything in multi-shot panorama! I'm also hoping to get a bit of portraiture done whilst I'm there (if ~Alomie is willing to model, that is!), so will still be taking the 50mm with me.

Now just to decide how I'm going to get my shots off my card whilst I'm away, if I actually need to. I'm tempted to take my little NAS box with me and use that, but at the same time I'm not sure I want to back up my whole NAS box just to take it away with me. Hmm.

So yeah, anyway, don't expect any replies from me for a couple of weeks (up until I leave I'm going to be buried neck-deep in game code), and then there will probably be a flurry of new work - apologies in advance for both.
